Hardship in Jamestown[]
Jamestown was a settlement, in Virginia, that faced some hardships like:
- Unfamiliar Climate
- They had built their front. beside the dirtiest part of the James River
- Water was only drinkable part of the year
- By autumn, diseases, salt poisoning and starvation had killed almost half of the colonist.
It was hard, but it was because it was the FIRST permanent settlment of the English in the New World.
